I have a confession...
I am a TOTAL copy cat.
I don't know why that feels like a total *fail* in some ways for me, but this project was TOO good to pass up.
Don't go looking at theirs quite yet, because theirs are awesomer and then you'll think "ohhh...Sarah's sucks!"
BUT alas, I'm giving my go at it, with my own twists & styles involved,
and a little kidlet help :)
Here's our supplies:
(not shown, acrylic paint & stampers & hot glue...BAD tutorial pics, I know!)
Birdie helping with the paint.
Look at her, all grown up with her hair up!
After it dried, I stamped them with some letter stamps to spell CANDY
(not just "CAN" as shown in the photo)
let THAT dry and then gave it a quick sanding for a rustic chic look that I love oh-so-much!
Hot glue (or E9000) it all together, VOILA!
So there you have it.
MY version.
I love it.
My kids love it.
We're happy :)
Side note:
has anyone noticed how OUTDATED conversation hearts are this year?
"Page Me"
WHO HAS A PAGER ANYMORE?
(besides Doctors & Nurses)
jeez...
get with the times!
At least say:
"Facebook Me"

Check out the Link Parties tab to see where I'll be partying.
Last but not least...
Go & check out the Beau Sophie GIVEAWAY!
it's awesome.
