I'm freaking out. SO exciting. Not sure WHY. It doesn't really CHANGE anything. If you visit the original www.thebirdspapaya.blogspot.com it'll forward you to www.thebirdspapaya.com, but if FEELS different.
I'm ridonkulous, I know.
You may be wondering why.
Well, that's a question I've been asking myself in the days before this change.
Ultimately it came down to ownership. I wanted to OWN thebirdspapaya.com before anybody else did. I'm not saying this to freak anyone out into feeling like they have to do the same for their .blogspot blogs, not at all, but I already have gone through a name change (originally "The Frugal Mama" back in the day) because of others with the same name and finding it difficult in search engines to find my blog.
Who knows what the future brings, so I just decided to take the step to secure the .com for The Birds Papaya.
Plus, it's easier to say to people.
So thanks for sticking with me through all the non-change, change.
