This month's Wood You Like To Craft is hosted over at Crafty Sisters.
The project was to do a wood tool box style thingy.
I got lucky.
I've had something similar from a thrift store needing redone.
This was the perfect motivation to finish up a project!
Here's mine:
But here's how it looked like to start:
I removed the hinged lid, and plan to use that for another project down the road.
I then gave it several coats of antique white acrylic paint, and then a coat of white spray paint.
I then mixed together some acrylic paint to make the perfect grey/blue and stenciled them onto the front.
(p.s. totally addicted to stencils right now)
I then filled it with three smoke blue grey bowls (they were supposed to be cereal bowls from Ikea) and then I put stones in the bottom.
I tried it inside too, but I think it looks best on the front porch!
Okay, I'm off to link it up to:
You still have a week if you want to be inspired and do one yourself!!
Here's the hostesses renditions:

HOW GREAT ARE THOSE!!?
To be honest, I wish I had the time (and vehicle as the hubs is off working) to get a better filler, but I love it for now and it's easy to change.
Wish me luck!!
