This was our last year's Mother's Day gift idea for the kids to do.
Originally, this idea was suggested to me by my friend Sarah who is a great supporter of my blog, and always sending me cool things to try out or see. (thanks Sar!)
Super easy, so lets get right to it.
What you'll need to make this a success:
- Jar
- Epsom Salts
- Food Coloring
- Scent of your choice (we used a Calvin Klein perfume).
There's no tutorial photos, because this is SO easy.
- Separate your salts into bowls and add a little food coloring, and a couple sprays of your fave scent (don't saturate the salts, or they'll begin to dissolve).
- Mix each bowl until the color & scent is evenly dispersed to the salts.
- Next, all you have to do is funnel them into your jar, layering the colors!
THAT'S IT!
It's fun for kids, because they can do the mixing.
If you have a sensitive to scent Mom, just omit the perfume.
One week til Mother's Day...and Bo's birthday!
A Mother's greatest gift is her children, I'm so blessed to be sharing "my" day with my Boden.

Totally doing this! Ok, maybe not like RIGHT now, but one day for sure. :) I love that kids can do it so quickly and easily. Good for wee little attention spans.
