I cannot say enough about FALL.
I love it. I love it all.
The colors, the crisp cool weather, the soups & the decor.
ALL of it.
Since my porch was all summery still, I decided to "fall-it-up" with a new pillow for my adirondack chair.
This was a freebie project as I had everything on hand (LOVE these kind).
Project Ingredients:
- Black Fabric Paint
- Foam Brush
- Canvas Drop Cloth
- Pillow Stuffing (I just buy generic pillows at wal-mart and cut them open, use their fluff!)
- Foam stamp - flower (you can find these at craft & dollar stores)
- Letter Stencils (or use good ol' paper cut outs if you want, or freezer paper)
First up, I sewed my pillow, leaving a small section of the bottom open for stuffing.
Then I did all the stenciling and stamping (using light amounts of the fabric paint so it wouldn't be so sharp looking in the letters & flowers)
Stuffed it
Sewed up that bottom opening.
DONE.
Total time - approx 20 minutes
Jemma likes to invade my photo shoots...but that's OK because she's cute.
Next up to be "fall-i-fied"...the MANTLE!
OOOH..it's looking good. Can't wait to show you guys!
